A Personal Support Worker (PSW) course is a program that teaches students how to provide care to clients in a variety of settings. PSWs work with people of all ages and health conditions, helping them with daily tasks like bathing, dressing, and managing their home.
A Personal Support Worker (PSW) plays an important role in providing compassionate, hands-on care to individuals who need assistance with daily living activities. PSWs support seniors, people with disabilities, and individuals recovering from illness or surgery in their homes or community settings. Their duties often include helping with personal hygiene, mobility, meal preparation, and medication reminders, while offering companionship and emotional support. PSWs are trained professionals who prioritize dignity, respect, and personalized care, making a meaningful difference in the lives of their clients and their families.
